This means that we finally have confirmation Jason Momoa will be portraying the role of the King of Atlantis, Aquaman, in the DC Universe. Moreover, Ezra Miller will also be portraying the movie version of The Flash in the DCCU.
Other notable movies include, the recently rumoured Suicide Squad movie and Wonder Woman. Regarding the Suicide Squad movie, Warner Bros. commented that they are currently in talks with at least 4 major actors to join the cast of the film. And unless Marvel has an ace up its sleeve, it seems DC might be the first to have a female led superhero film in the theatres, with Wonder Woman hitting the screens in 2017.
What's more interesting is, the Justice League movie will play out in two parts, and both of them will release before the Green Lantern movie. Green Lantern, of course, has been a major part of the Justice League, and is included in almost every version of the superhero team. So, it's rather strange that he may not be in either of the Justice League films. Though, there's always the chance of introducing him in some other film and have him take part in the superhero teamup after all.
Other than the announced films, Warner Bros. also confirmed that standalone Batman, and Superman films are also in the works. However, no release date is currently attached to them.
