After months of teasing, and the recent confirmation of playing a role in the as-of-yet unannounced Shazam movie, The Rock has finally revealed that he will be playing the character of Black Adam for the DC film.

Variety is reporting that "Shrek Forever After" screenwriter, Darren Lemke, has also been nabbed to write the script for the movie. Even though there has been no current word about the movie from Warner Bros., it's been all but confirmed for a while now. And with The Rock making his role official, it's probably only a matter of time till it's announced.
