The CW has cast Roger Howarth (General Hospital) as journalist Mason Bridge, for their new superhero drama, The Flash.
Mason Bridge, a new character specifically made for the series, is defined as, "an award-winning reporter from the Central City Picture News. He’s assigned to shepherd new employee Iris West (Candice Patton), but their relationship becomes complicated when Bridge begins to investigate Barry’s mentor, Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh)."
It seems the show will be delving further into Iris' career as a journalist sooner rather than later. Moreover, we might even get some answers regarding the mysterious Harrison Wells through the character.
The Flash debuted to stellar ratings this month, and will continue on Tuesdays on The CW.
