It seems we won't have to wait till the next Star Wars movie to see Mark Hamill on the screen. The CW has cast the actor to reprise his role of the Trickster on The Flash. He previously portrayed the character in the 90s Flash show, and provided his voice for Justice League Unlimited animated series.
Hamill isn't the only character reprising his role from the original series. The 90s Barry Allen, John Wesley Shipp, is also currently starring in the series as Henry Allen. And Amanda Pays' character Tina McGee will also be making her first appearance on the show this week as scientist Tina McGee.
The official character description of Hamill's Trickster describes him as:

The official character description of Hamill's Trickster describes him as:
"Mark Hamill returns in a brand new interpretation of James Jesse (aka The Trickster), a role he originated on the 90's 'Flash' series. In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original's deadly footsteps. The episode will reunite him with John Wesley Shipp who went up against him as the original 'Flash' on the CBS version."
The character will appear in the 17th episode of the season, and will apparently have scenes with John Wesley Shipp as well, reuniting him with the original Flash.
