Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23) has reportedly been cast as Jessica Jones in Marvel's upcoming Netflix series of the same name. The series is set to air following Daredevil's release on the streaming platform.
Though, Marvel has made no official announcement yet, Deadline is reporting the deal has been finalised. Moreover, Deadline also stated that Mike Colter (Halo: Nightfall) has been nabbed as Luke Cage, who will also get to star in his own Netflix series. The character will be introducer in a recurring role in Jessica Jones.

The 13-episode-series, being produced and written by Melissa Rosenberg, is one of the four Marvel series set to air on Netflix. The series centers on Jessica Jones, "a superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes."
