Fox has renewed Gotham for a second season. The announcement was made earlier today at the TCA press tour.
Gotham's been one of the best new shows for Fox in recent years, when it premiered last September. It's current season has been getting excellent ratings, averaging 10.6 millions viewers every week. It's constantly been among the top drama among men 18-34 this season.
Of course, it comes as no surprise, since Fox had dedicated a lot of resources to the project even before it premiered. After buying the rights for the show from Warner Bros, Fox immediately ordered a full season for the show even before it's pilot, hence letting it skip the initial pilot process altogether.
