Ubisoft has finally revealed the next game in the Assassin's Creed series, titled Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
The game, set in 1868 London, will have the players assume the role of protagonist Jacob Frye. Interestingly, for the first time in the franchise history players will also be able to play as another character, Evie Frye, the sister of Jacob Frye.
Jacob Frye was described by Ubisoft as the more "more hot headed, brash and rebellious" figure of the duo, while Evie is a "master of stealth." Much like GTA V, the players will be able to freely switch between the characters during freeroam, while story missions will be character specific.

Other new mechanics in the game include being able to drive carriages and trains for the first time. A new gauntlet that allows the players to zipline from building to building is also being introduced. A similar hook-blade gauntlet was seen before in Assassin's Creed Revelations.
The game will be single player only, and will feature the biggest city ever in an Assassin's Creed. The City of London is said to be about 30% bigger than Unity's Paris. London will consist of six boroughs: Westminster, the Strand, the City of London, Whitechapel, Southwark, and Lambeth. The Thames will also play a prominent role in the game, acting as the major entry and exit point for the beating heart of the Empire.

The game leaked recently under the name of Victory, but it seems Ubisoft has changed the name to Victory.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate will release worldwide on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23rd, and later in the autumn for the PC version.
