Assassin's Creed Rogue has been officially confirmed by Ubisoft, and is arriving on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11. The game's title was previously leaked via an online retailer, and a leaked version of its trailer was also posted online yesterday revealing its release date.
Players will take on the role of Shay Patrick Cormac, a Templar tasked with infiltrating the Assassin Order. The game is set during the Seven Years' War, and will reportedly tie in with with the Kenway Saga and Assassin's Creed Unity.
The sailing mechanics from previous games will also make a return, allowing players to explore New York, the Arctic and the Appalachian River Valley on their ship – the Morrigan.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia, which is responsible for the PS Vita game, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Ubisoft Singapore, Montreal, Chengdu, Milan, Bucharest and Quebec are also collaborating.
