The CW has cast English actor, and former professional football player, Vinnie Jones, as Daniel "Brick" Brickwell on Arrow.
Jones, who is famous for his roles in Snatch and X-Men: The Last Stand, will be joining the third season of Arrow in a three episode arc, spanning from episode 10 to 12. Variety is defining the character as, "a ruthless gang leader who brings Star City’s government to its knees. He’s known as “Brick” on the streets because he’s been shot dozens of times but never put down."
Brick, of course, is a classic Green Arrow villain in the comics, blessed with the power of invulnerability, and has faced the hooded hero many times. Though, Brick has appeared in animated form before, this will be his first live action appearance. This isn't the first mention of the character in the show either. Previously, he appeared in the infamous list from season one, that Oliver acquired from his father.
