Marvel has finally confirmed that the Russo brothers will be directing the two part Avengers: Infinity War movies. It was previously heavily rumoured that the duo that directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will be taking the directing duties for Avengers from Joss Whedon, and now Marvel has officially announced it via their blog.
Joe and Anthony Russo are of course no stranger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starting with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the duo will also be directing the upcoming sequel, Captain America: Civil War, which in itself is shaping up to be a mini Avengers of sorts.
It's being reported that both the Avengers movies will be shot back to back, and will feature an all new roster of Avengers, for at least the first part of the film. The movie will also see Josh Brolin return as Thanos, after his brief appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy.
