The Flash continues to grow its cast, and this time its Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) joining the show as Linda Park.
Linda Park, of course, is a regular in the Flash comics, being the wife of Wally West, the third Flash and nephew of Iris West. Hollywood Reporter broke the news, and they are describing the character as "a quick-witted reporter for the Central City Picture News. She befriends Iris (Candice Patton) while at work and helps her navigate the fast-paced world of journalism. When she meets Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) at a local bar, the two hit it off and become quick friends."
She is set to appear in the twelfth episode of the season, though considering she's supposed to end up with Wally, it's odd for her to be a potential love interest for Barry. Moreover, now that Linda is here, it seems Wally wouldn't be far behind either. This casting also hints at Wally and Barry being more similar in age, rather than him being a bit younger, as he is in the comics.
