The official title and the principal cast for the next James Bond film has been confirmed in a livestream today held on www.007.com.
The movie is titled 'Spectre' and will see Daniel Craig return as James Bond, with other returning actors including Naomi Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and as was revealed in Skyfall, Ralph Fiennes as the new M. Sam Mendes will also be returning as the director for the film.
The additions to the cast include Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Mister Hinx, Andrew Scott (Sherlock) as Denbigh, while Monica Belluci (The Matrix) and Lea Seydoux (Inglorious Basterds) will be portraying Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann, the new Bond girls.
Moreover, after weeks of speculation, Christoph Waltz has also been confirmed to be a part of the movie, and will portray the character of Oberhauser. However, considering the recent rumours, could his casting be a red herring, and he be actually portraying the iconic Bond villain, Ernest Stavro Blofeld? Time will tell.
Principal photography for the film will begin this Monday. Spectre will hit the theatres on November 6, 2015.
