Marion Cotillard has reportedly joined the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie in an as of yet undisclosed role.
If some rumours are to be believed, she could be playing Lara, a potential ally to Michael Fassbender's Assassin in the movie. Previous rumours reported that Fassbender will be playing a character named Michael Lynch in the movie, a death-row inmate who is being forced to go into the Animus by the villains of the movie. He would find himself as an assassin named Aguilar de Agarorobo during the period of the Spanish Inquisition.
Marion Cotillard is best known for her roles in The Dark Knight Rises and Inception, where she played Talia al Ghul and Mal respectively.
Directed by Justin Kerzel, Assassin's Creed stars Michael Fassbender in the leading role and will hit the theatres on December 21, 2016.
