Warner Bros. has really been on a roll lately, as far as television shows are concerned. Last week there were rumours of a Supergirl TV show, which was later confirmed as being in developed, and now Variety is reporting that a Teen Titans show is in development for TNT.
The show, which will just be known as 'Titans' is being developed with Dick Grayson, the first Robin and eventual Nightwing, in the lead. Starfire and Raven are mentioned as being other characters in the show.
Currently, the show is awaiting a pilot order, with Akiva Goldsman (Batman Forever) and Marc Haimes (The Last Word) serving as executive producer and co-executive producer respectively. If the show gets picked up, it'll join the ranks of other DC shows, including Arrow, The Flash, Constantine, Gotham and iZombie. And although it being on TNT, the chances of a shared universe with The CW shows are slim, TNT is a subsidiary of Time Warner, so it's not completely out of the question.
Of course, this isn't the first time Teen Titans will appear on TV. Teen Titans animated series previously aired on Cartoon Network in 2006, and recently Teen Titans Go! started airing in 2013.
