Marvel's Agent Carter has added another actor to this cast, and this time its White Collar's Bridget Regan. She will be joining the show in a recurring role.
Regan's character, named Dottie, is being described as, "a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of Agent Carter." Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television said, "Bridget Regan brings the nuance and complexity of Dottie to life in a way that leaves no doubt as to her importance to Peggy."
Unlike most other characters from the show, with the exception of Lyndsy Fonseca's, Regan's role appears to be of a normal civilian. It seems we will see more than just Peggy's work life, in the upcoming ABC series.
Regan joins fellow cast members, Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper, Chad Michael Murray, Enver Gjokaj, James D'Arcy, Shia Wingham, and Lyndsy Fonseca. Marvel's Agent Carter is set to air this fall on ABC during Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's mid-season break.
