The CW has cast yet another Spartacus alum for its superhero drama, Arrow. Nick Tarabay, who portrayed Ashur on Spartacus, will be joining Arrow as supervillain, Captain Boomerang.
Tarabay is the fourth actor from Spartacus to land a gig on Arrow. Previous alums include Manu Bennett (Slade/Deathstroke), Katrina Law (Nyssa al Ghul) and Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Waller).
Digger Harkness, aka Captain Boomerang is being described as "a former A.R.G.U.S operative, highly skilled in martial arts and espionage, with a deadly thirst for vengeance against his former employers." He most recently appeared in animated form in Batman: Assault on Arkham, where he was a part of the Suicide Squad along with fellow supervillains Deadshot, Harley Quinn and several others.
The character is set to appear in the seventh episode of the season, continuing into the eighth episode, where Arrow will crossover into The Flash. Captain Boomerang has been a recurring villain for The Flash in the comics, and a prominent member of the Suicide Squad over the years. So, him being a future villain in The Flash might also not be completely out of the question.
The third season of Arrow is set to return on October 8th on The CW.
